With every beat and breath, Wingtips blur the line between despair and desire. Their lush synths and ethereal guitars conjure visions of lost lovers dancing through the haze, creating a sound that's equal parts gothic confession and glittering resurrection.

We met up with Vincent from the Chicago darkwave duo before their performance at Absolution Fest 2025. We discussed the band's evolution since their first album, what it was like to work with Ronnie Stone and Tim Cappello, the allure of releasing singles versus full albums, and the satisfaction of laying down a good guitar track.
